Conditions for running at stall at the Onehunga Festival

CONDITIONS FOR OPERATING A STALL

  1. Each application is for one stall site only.
  2. Each business is required to pay a non-refundable stall fee* to guarantee a reserved space.
  3. Space at the Onehunga Festival is limited. The measurement of your stall must not exceed 3m x 3m unless you have prior approval. If you have not received prior approval, then you will be given time to rectify the size. If this is not done within the timeframe given, you will be asked to leave the Festival.
  4. Stallholders may not share their stall or rent it to any person, group or organisation that is not registered as a stallholder at the Festival.
  5. Stallholders are responsible for supplying all of their own equipment, e.g. marquees, generators, tables and chairs at the Festival. 
  6. Any generator must be certified and have a low environmental impact i.e. low to no noise and minimal emissions. Should there be any complaints from other stall holders or festival attendees regarding noise or emission from said generator the stall holder may be asked to turn off the generator or asked to leave the festival. 
  7. Stall applications may be refused at the sole discretion of the Onehunga Festival Committee. All decisions are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. Stallholders will be allocated a specific space for them to operate. This is to be strictly adhered to.
  9. Receiving an application form does not guarantee your acceptance of a site at the Festival. Acceptance will be sent out by the 8 February 2023. If you have not received confirmation by this date, please contact Angela 022 327 6912.
  10. There will be NO discussion with a stallholder not liking their stall site on the day, or a stall that has not been able to rectify an excess in the 3m x 3m and has been asked to leave.
  11. There will be NO further discussions should the stallholder misrepresent themselves in the application and the stall is deemed inappropriate and asked to leave the Festival.
  12. Stallholders are required to remain at the Festival for the full duration from 10.30am until 3.00pm, and NO vehicles will be allowed in the park or move around between these hours.
  13. Stallholders must remove all their rubbish from the park at the end of the day. Any stallholder found leaving rubbish will not be invited back to the Festival and will be charged a removal fee of $200.00 per rubbish bag.
  14. Information regarding sites, set-up times, parking will be emailed 1 to 2 weeks prior to the event. 
  15. All stalls must be set up by 10.00am and all vehicles out of the Festival area by 10.15am.
  16. Playing of music on stalls through portable speakers is strictly prohibited.
  17. The event is Zero Waste and all stall holders are required to supply compostable food and beverage packaging and environmentally friendly bags or other products. Please see the Zero Waste Vendor Information. There will be no negotiation about this condition.

*Prices vary depending on the business. Craft stalls are $49 + GST and all other businesses are $79 + GST. Community stalls & stalls of Onehunga Business Association members are free.
