Local businesses deserve our ongoing support, therefore, this month I want to introduce you to some of our small businesses.

Hakim Farhat – Almaz Café

Located at 157 Onehunga Mall, Hakim and his wife Wazhma are originally from the Middle East and create some delicious kebabs and rice dishes for everyone to enjoy. They make everything themselves except for the baklava which they buy from a specialist.

An office favourite is Hakim’s falafel – truly scrumptious.

JoJo Ross

Bringing a breath of fresh air, Jojo’s flagship store opened in Onehunga earlier this year. Deciding she wanted to have a shop close to her home to seek a better work-life balance, Jojo is sharing space with personal stylist, Heather Hale. You will find NZ made ready-to-wear fashion with pops of colour and curious prints.

Jojo and Heather are located at 260 Onehunga Mall.

Cece Nguyen – Flutter & Co

Brightly lit, Flutter & Co is a premium nail, lash and brow studio at 234 Onehunga Mall. This stylish space was created by owner Cece and she is often found looking after her regular clients who all love her high standard of work.
