Onehunga is open for essential services

It is an uncertain time for everyone while the pandemic threat hangs over us. I want to remind everyone that it is critical that if you need to do any shopping that your local businesses would really appreciate your support.

Onehunga’s hospitality and retail sector is under an increasing amount of pressure as people change their routines so shopping local is greatly valued.

As we go to print, many of our businesses are looking to adapt with some like Food Me-n-u offering a local delivery service or Everybody Eats and ONE café pre-ordering via the Foodprint app. This may change as the situation develops.

Some of our businesses have online stores such as Onehunga Books & Stationary where you can get product delivered direct to your door. Many of our community services like the library, recreation centre and some churches have closed.

As things change the Onehunga Business Association will be running a web page called www.onehunga.net.nz/onehunga-is-open-for-business with the most up-to-date information on what businesses are offering.
