Onehunga is one of the last central Auckland suburbs to offer free parking!
You can get several hours of parking between Onehunga Mall and Selwyn Street: on Gerrard Beeson Place and Waiapu Lane (between Arthur and Church Streets, in front of Countdown); and on Lower Municipal Street (between Arthur and Pearce Streets, behind the Onehunga Library and Community Centre). There is also many 30 minute car parks available on Onehunga Mall.
For Dress-Smart shoppers, there’s plenty more free parking off Arthur Street, Galway Street and Paynes Lane.

Trains to Onehunga
The Onehunga Line links Onehunga directly by train to Britomart in downtown Auckland.
Buses to Onehunga
Onehunga is very well serviced by buses to many parts of Auckland. The main bus stop for buses to and from Onehunga’s town centre is located on Upper Municipal Place, alongside the Onehunga Community Centre and Library at 83 Church Street.
