Heritage

Rich with history, Onehunga sits at the bottom of Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill) with access to the Manukau Harbour. The suburb has been a central point for settlers and trade since the 1840s and was seen as a key position of the military and naval defence of the western perimeter of Auckland.
