Come along to Onehunga Bay Reserve with your family on Saturday 22 February 2020, 10.30am to 3pm for a great day of free entertainment, activities, food, stalls and fun.
Get your groove on to headline act White Chapel Jak who bring a fresh and funky approach to the songs we all know and love! They will be supported by festival favourites Cook Island dance troupe Anuanua, the energetic Potters House performers and much more on the stage. Our MC, King Homeboy will spice things up with his beat boxing sounds.
Free amusements include face painting, bouncy castles, water rollers, cannonball blaster, jump slide, bouncer maze, climbing wall, balloon twisting plus Little Bo Peep’s petting zoo and pony rides.
Food stalls include the very popular Onehunga Bites pop-up eatery with tastes from some of Onehunga’s top cafes and bakeries, Mama’s Dumplings, Temptation Polynesian Treats, Ice Cream Social, A Sweet Life coffee & sodas and Snowie shaved ice.
Other stalls will host craft works for sale as well as some of Onehunga’s great community groups including the Onehunga Department of Social Services and the Onehunga Community Library plus, you can have a free Well Woman smear test.
On the water the Aotea Sea Scouts will give you the opportunity to try your hand at kayaking or sailing.
The YMCA will have some equipment to put you through your paces.
Bike parking with a free on-site bike mechanic will be available so leave your car at home and cycle to the festival.
