Everybody Eats opens in Onehunga

Onehunga has a new restaurant in town and it is New Zealand’s first, permanent pay-as-you-feel destination that uses food at the end of its life. The restaurant is open Sunday – Thursday 6-8pm at 306 Onehunga Mall. Whether you are rich or poor you are welcome through the doors of Everybody Eats and you will all sit together and enjoy your kai as a community.

The restaurant is also looking for volunteers to take on shifts working front of house, kitchen and washing dishes so you can find more info on their website: https://everybodyeats.nz

The Denizen has the first review and it’s all good! The second is hot off the press from The Spinoff.

Everybody Eats has just received $12,000 grant from Auckland Airport to purchase a walk-in freezer and food sorting area. More details are available at the NZ Herald.

Check out their daily menu on Facebook and Instagram.

Let your friends and family know that everyone is welcome.
