St Peter’s Anglican Church are hosting a Christmas fair with bric-a-brac, books, food and other activities in an annual fundraiser.
Celebrate the start of the festive season and bring the family along to the 2019 Onehunga Christmas Parade!
Beginning at 11:00am, the parade runs from the corner of Onehunga Mall and Arthur Street down to Princes Street before returning back along Onehunga Mall to Arthur Street.
The parade promises to be lots of fun with festive Christmas floats, lively bands and dancers plus a host of colourful characters including Santa and Mrs Claus & MC Matty McLean.
There’ll also be free face painting and balloon twisting for the kids from 11:00am to 1:00pm near St Peter’s Church plus the chance to meet and get a photo with Santa after the Parade.
This event is proudly sponsored by Onehunga Business Association, Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board and Four Winds Foundation with support from Onehunga Community Patrol and Clean Events.
Leave your car at home and walk, ride or cycle to the parade. There is bike parking available on Arthur Street (outside Onehunga Cafe) and on Onehunga Mall.
This New Year’s Eve, The Bramble are celebrating the turning of the decade in nostalgic fashion by celebrating the Roaring 20’s. Costumes, cocktails and canapés will be reflective of the era. Music will have nudges and influence.
