Coast to Coast walkway

The Coast to Coast walk is a hike across Auckland, from Waitematā to Manukau. You can choose to start or finish this walk in Onehunga.
The walk takes you through landscapes shaped by 600 years of Māori occupation, and through some of our finest natural and built heritage areas offering panoramic views along the way. It includes the traverse of both Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill) and Maungawhau (Mt Eden) so is steep in sections.
