Associate Membership

Our Associate Membership will provide businesses outside of our Business Improvement District (BID) boundary an opportunity to engage with our local business community.
The Onehunga Business Association has traditionally focused on the retail town centre but we are looking to expand our BID boundary and the first step in this process is to launch our Associate Membership.
Benefits of an Associate Membership will include:
- Listing on our website Business Directory
- Free (or heavily subsidised) business events, at least six events planned annually including the Business Networking Breakfast series and a crime prevention workshop
- Promotion of the business via the Onehunga social media platforms at least once per annum
- Monthly member newsletter
- Access to the member section of the OBA website including exclusive member offers and specials
- Sponsorship opportunities available for Onehunga events and promotions
- Engagement with the wider Onehunga business community.
Costs
We have two options of Associate Membership:
- $200 (plus GST) for individual members/sole traders working from home in the wider Onehunga area or Not-for-profit organisation operating from Onehunga*
- $350 (plus GST) for a business in the proposed expansion area - see map below.
These costs will be pro rata from 1 January of each year.

*Not-for-profit membership entitles one participant to attend business events. Additional participants will need to be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
