Onehunga Bay Reserve

Home to the Onehunga Festival and one of Auckland's busiest dog parks, the Onehunga Bay Reserve has a lovely walking circuit for everyone to enjoy.

Found on Beachcroft Road, the Onehunga Bay Reserve is a tidal estuary which hosts New Zealand's premiere wake-boarding park and can be busy with locals walking their dogs. It is a designated free-range park for under control canines so many are found to gather at different times of the day.

A walk around the reserve can take approximately 15 minutes which includes sand, however, there is a footpath to help out those less mobily able.

This is also the official start/end point for the Coast to Coast walkway.

For more information about the reserve visit Auckland Council.
